Ordinary People, Extraordinary Impact: Timothy
This Sunday, we conclude our Ordinary People, Extraordinary teaching series with a look at Timothy. Timothy was young, apparently somewhat timid, and probably would not have been everyone's first choice for leadership. But Paul saw something in him and, more importantly, God had a calling on his life. Paul told him: “Don’t let anyone look down on you because you are young, but set an example for the believers…” (1 Timothy 4:12). God doesn't wait until we feel completely qualified, experienced, or confident before He uses us. God is more interested in our availability and faithfulness than our résumé.
